Wrapping up 2011
Weddings, Seniors and Families
I want to start this post with a very sincere THANK YOU to all of my wonderful clients of this year as well as the years leading up to this point. Because you all trusted me to capture your special moments in time, I am able to continue to work in a career I love. For this, I am truly grateful.
I thought it would be fun to wrap up my year in photography by posting some of my favorite images captured from the sessions of 2011. It's a portfolio I am proud of and excited to share with you. Thanks for visiting! ~ Cheryl
The Weddings of 2011
From small, intimate weddings to a large, destination wedding, this year was filled with beautiful weddings and wonderful brides and grooms. It's always fun when Amy and I photograph a wedding and leave feeling like we were part of something special. That's exactly what each and every wedding was like this year.
2011 Seniors
The seniors I photographed this year were all return clients (well, the parents were) from previous senior shoots of siblings. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the families again and getting to know these young adults who are sure to go on to do great things!
2011 Children & Families
What can I say about these children and these families?
It is an honor to be hired to photograph a baby, and especially a newborn. This year was very special as I photographed newborns and babies who were either new additions to my own family or those of my friends' families. One of the highlights this year was spending an entire day up at Mt. Hood taking pictures of three families in a snowy winter wonderland. We had so much fun, I am planning to do it again next year - this time for a whole weekend!
To top it all off, we had a very sunny and dry December, which meant family sessions continued to happen until the very end of autumn...a rare treat in the Pacific Northwest!
